<p>In celebration of Omaha Beer Week five local brewers inspired by the great beers of Belgium have come together to help us offer a truly local experience!  With the help of Omaha&#8217;s best brewers Dario will create the ultimate local beer pairing dinner with beers such as, Nebraska Brewing Company Belgian Wit, Upstream Brewing Company Belgian Dubbel, Lucky Bucket Brewing Company Barleywine.  Also a Belgian Strong Golden, and a Hoppy Saison.<span id="more-1016"></span><br />
We are holding this event on a Monday, a day  we are closed to the public, so we can offer th is experience to more people and concentrate on the pairing dinner. The brewers will be on hand to discuss each beer and explain Dario&#8217;s pairing decisions. Seating is limited to about 50, so place your reservation today!  The event will be held on Monday, February 6th, doors open at 6 p.m., Dinner at 7pm., and will cost $55 per person. <p>Last week saw the debut of Dario&#8217;s Summer 2011 lunch and dinner menus. Veal Schnitzel join the repertoire, while we have changed the preparations of several of our house favorites— salmosssnssssalmon, duck, lamb steak—to suit the changing seasons. (The blue cheese mussels, steak and frites, and sous vide short ribs haven&#8217;t gone anywhere!)</p>
<p>Dundee Day</p>
<p>Dundee Day, a neighborhood street festival in Dundee, is scheduled for August 27th this year, and Dario&#8217;s will be in on the fun. Stop by our beer garden for sous vide beer brats, our famous burgers, and the best beer in the neighborhood—plus live music starting at 6:00pm. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Next week, Dario&#8217;s will host another celebration of Belgian brewing and beer gastronomy. Limited seating is available for a four-course beer pairing dinner featuring several classic warm-weather beer styles.</p>
<p>Saison, perhaps our favorite summer beer, is a refreshing and complex low-alcohol style of pale ale <span id="more-915"></span>traditionally brewed in farmhouses for consumption by farm workers; this family will be represented by Hennepin, a spicy, citrusy, well-hopped Saison by Brewery Ommegang from Cooperstown, New York. Flemish Red Ale is a fascinating oddity, a sweet-and-sour style with notes of fine balsamic, tart cherries, and malty sweetness; its balanced intensity makes it surprisingly quaffable and food-friendly. Our pick in this style is Monk&#8217;s Cafe by Brouwerij van Steenberge. Gouden Carolus Cuvee van de Keizer Rood, a bright, blonde and delicious strong golden ale, and Kasteel Cuvee du Chateau, a rich and malty strong dark ale, will round out the program.<!--more--></p>
<p>As ever, Dario&#8217;s classic, comforting, seasonally focused cuisine will serve as complement and counterpoint for these outstanding ales.</p>
